Gordon is the Nor' Easter's number 4. He pulls the express from Knapford to Barrow In-Furness.
Bio
When the LNER came to Sodor in 1922, Gordon was brought in to run express services between Knapford and Barrow In-Furness. When he first arrived on Sodor, he was courteous and eager to get to work. He immediately garnered reputation for his reliability. After receiving praise from many passengers, he became another arrogant express engine. He is the main express engine of the nor’easters.
Persona
Gordon's important position as the engine who pulls the Express has made him proud, pompous and self-important, with a good reason too; he is the fastest engine on Sodor. He is extremely proud of this and is inclined to boast. He is goodhearted, always willing to forgive and uses his superior strength to help smaller engines out of trouble.
Livery
Gordon is painted in sky blue livery with red and yellow, the number 4 is painted on his tender in yellow.
Basis
Gordon is a LNER A0 and the only one of his kind but he was rebuilt in 1924 into a LNER A3.
